OLIVIA MILES is an accomplished film, TV, and commercial costume designer originally from Vermont. She teamed with director Tim Story for “Shaft” and previously worked with Tim on “Ride Along 2,” “White Famous,” a series for Showtime, and the “Casino” segment of “Kevin Hart: What Now?”. She has also designed the costumes for such films as the biopic “Gotti,” starring John Travolta, “When the Bough Breaks,” starring Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall, and the big-screen “Entourage.” Olivia also designed the costumes for “Skin,” which took the Oscar in February 2019 for best live action short.
She earlier worked on the HBO series “Entourage” as costume designer for the final two seasons. In television, she also served as the costume designer on the ABC series ‘Rebel,” CW’s “All American,” “White Famous” “The Crazy Ones," for CBS, “Full Circle,” and “Jane by Design,” as well as numerous network pilots.
Over the years, Olivia has made many appearances to discuss her costume design and career, including Teen Vogue Fashion University in New York, The Grove, the Columbia College Costume Design program, CSU Long Beach, and various costume design panels.
Olivia also styles television commercials and personal clients.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and Corgi.
